Michele Mcpherson
Michele was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to the Fort Worth area when she was 3 years old. After graduating from Keller High School in 2002, she went to Texas Woman’s University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2006 and a Master of Science degree in 2017. In addition to being a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Michele underwent further training and certification to become a Registered Nurse First Assist. This not only allows her to assist Dr. Smith in the operating room, but also provides the opportunity to be involved with each phase of the patient’s care. She is passionate about helping others and is very thankful to have such a rewarding career where she can help patients understand and feel comfortable with their diagnosis and treatment options and guide them towards making the best decisions for optimal results.
Michele is also an aesthetic injector expertly trained in various injection techniques of neurotoxins and dermal fillers. She loves being able to help patients boost their confidence through enhancement of their natural beauty.
Outside of work, Michele loves traveling, hiking, off-roading in her jeep, and all things dogs and monkeys. She also enjoys volunteering at the Humane Society of North Texas and going on medical mission trips where she assists with cleft lip and palate repair and other facial reconstructive procedures.
Bailey Pettway
Bailey Pettway is licensed Medical Aesthetician for Center for Aesthetic Surgery. She specializes in chemical peels, brow shaping, waxing, and all types of facial treatments tailored to fit individual client’s needs, including scar revision with her microneedling device called Skinpen.
Bailey is also a trained skincare specialist, she can evaluate which products are the best fit for your rejuvenation journey. Not only does Bailey bring her profession to the Center for Aesthetic Surgery, she also brings her passion for the aesthetic industry. Her passion for knowledge in the dynamic, ever-changing skincare/beauty industry ensures that she stays informed with the latest technologies and cutting edge ingredients for skincare, which she loves to share with her clients.
Ashley Gregory, Patient Care Coordinator
Ashley is our Practice Care Coordinator. She is the personal liaison for all of our patients throughout their cosmetic journey. From initial consultation to surgery and beyond, Ashley works directly alongside our patients to ensure the best experience possible. Ashley is also a licensed Esthetician and truly enjoys helping people feel better in their own skin.
Ashley grew up in the DFW metroplex and has over 9 years of experience working in the medical field. She has worked with both OB/Gyn and Plastic Surgery practices in the past. Ashley currently lives in Fort Worth with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
Amy
Amy has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. We were fortunate to have Amy bring her expertise to the team in 2018 as our Certified Nurse Assistant.
Amy is usually the first voice people associate with our practice, since she does most of the office appointment scheduling. She then is our backbone during the day as we operate and see patients. Amy is extremely quick and efficient. Amy takes a great deal of pride in making our patient experience the very best it can be.
Amy has been married for 18 years, and she has 3 children.
Shasta
Shasta Mills is our surgical scrub technician. Shasta began her career as a certified scrub technician at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in 2006. Shasta was an integral member of the cardiothoracic and heart team at Baylor All Saints until 2013 when she began working with Dr. Smith in Plastic and Reconstructive cases. Since then, she has lead our Operating Room team through each of our operations, and is paramount to ensuring that we have the correct equipment for each of our patients. Shasta brings an exceptional skill set to the team with exemplary assistance during both surgical and minor procedures. Shasta also assists us in the office with follow up, operating room readiness, and preoperative and postoperative patient care. Shasta’s hidden talent is her excellent ability to analyze skin, and she has a knack for assisting patients with product selection for their very best noninvasive cosmetic outcomes.
Ashley
Ashley grew up in East Texas. She began her career in medicine as a surgical technologist in 2012, where she worked as a certified scrub technician at a bustling trauma hospital in Nacogdoches, Texas.
After 4 years, Ashley returned to school and completed her RN degree. Since that time Ashley has worked as an Operating Room Nurse Circulator. Ashley arranges all of our onsite equipment needs, and ensures maximum patient safety before, during, and after each operative procedure. Ashley moved to Fort Worth in 2018. In 2022, we were fortunate to have Ashley join us in every clinical and operative setting, so that patients can have a familiar face from start to finish.
Sandra
Sandra is our spectacular office manager. Sandra joined us in 2016 after an extremely rigorous, and varied past in Health Care Support. She is a certified professional coder, and certified ENT coder.
For over 25 years, Sandra has worked tirelessly in many facets of healthcare including records management specialist, collections specialist and supervisor, billing specialist and supervisor, data control supervisor, and billing and collections department management. She brings all of her expertise together at our offices to manage and guide the remainder of our staff. While you may never see or hear from Sandra, she is responsible for so many of the little, wonderful things that ultimately make the patient experience what it is supposed to be at our office.
